40,000 Residents' Survey Launched

Andrew Simpson, Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for Northampton North constituency, has launched a major environment and local services survey to 40,000 homes in the town.

"This survey concentrates on asking residents views on environmental and 'green issues' from local recycling ideas to national action to tackle climate change" said Andrew

"At a time when people are feeling the pinch with rising fuel, energy and food prices it will be interesting to see how far up the agenda environmental issues are in Northampton".

"The survey also asks about people's views on the increased cost of living and what their concerns are for the year ahead."

The 40,000 Northampton survey is part of 1.6 million produced so far by the Liberal Democrats and being distributed across the country. The results are expected towards the end of the year.
