Northampton North Parliamentary Candidate Andrew Simpson has released the results of his recent Town Centre Survey. Over 700 responses so far from local residents are being used to help inform key decisions about the future of Northampton Town Centre.

Andrew said: "Many people have told me they feel our town centre has gone down hill in recent years and the Lib Dem Borough Council is determined to reverse this decline.

"The findings clearly show that local people would like a better quality and variety of shops, lower parking charges and an improved market square that acts as a focal point for the town where people can meet, relax and shop.

"82% of residents would like to see the Grosvenor Centre expanded and almost two-thirds support a new bus terminal to replace the outdated and unsightly Greyfriars Bus Station."
